HRH Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Marry

On Saturday 19th May 2018, His Royal Highness Prince Harry will marry Ms Meghan Markle.

As Prince Harry & Meghan Markle marry on Saturday 19th May 2018, much prayer is needed for them and their life together.

Please visit the official Royal website for specific information about the couple and the Royal Wedding day.

Let us pray:

‘Go ahead and celebrate! Come on and clap your hands, everyone! Shout to God with the raucous sounds of joy!’
Psalm 47:1 from The Passion Translation (TPT)

Today is the day to celebrate the wedding of these two special people, and so we want to thank you, Heavenly Father, that you have brought them together. We want to give you thanks and praise for the times they have had together.

We pray for Prince Harry and Meghan to have a day filled with an abundance of joy as a couple, celebrating with their close family and friends. Despite the world looking on, we pray that they’d remember the reasons they came together, anticipating their future together. Give them the right focus for their day.

Lord Jesus, guard their hearts and minds as they prepare for the wedding vows they make before each other, their close family and most importantly You, O God. Fill St George’s Chapel in Windsor with your peace and a tangible presence and perfume to those who enter it – even to the masses who listen and watch. We pray that the service itself, the words, and the message given will draw people to Jesus.

‘Lord, as we worship you in your temple, we recall over and over your kindness to us and your unending love. The fame of your name echoes throughout the entire world, accompanied with praises. Your right hand is full of victory.’
Psalm 48: 9-10 TPT

We thank you God for your kindness to Prince Harry & Meghan over the years, and how you have led them thus far. We pray that beyond this Royal wedding day, your name Jesus, and your fame, will outshine that of even this special day for this special couple. May the name of Jesus echo with praises not only from St George’s Chapel in Windsor but throughout the whole world.

Let every activity of your lives and every word that comes from your lips be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. And bring your constant praise to God the Father because of what Christ has done for you!

Let every wife be supportive and tenderly devoted to her husband, for this is a beautiful illustration of our devotion to Christ. Let every husband be filled with cherishing love for his wife and never be insensitive toward her.’
Colossians 3:17-18 TPT

Lord, as Prince Harry and Meghan look forward to a life together, we pray that you would be on their lips and in their hearts, bringing praise to You. You, Lord, made them and brought them together for such a time as this. May the words and actions of Prince Harry & Meghan be full of love and forgiveness towards each other. As they learn to walk together in harmony, show them what this means each day.

Provide for them trusted, discreet and wise people who will encourage, strengthen & support their journey of life and their walk of faith. Under public scrutiny for the rest of their lives, Lord, furnish Prince Harry & Meghan with endurance – to persevere under the pressure that being in the Royal family brings.

Lord, may this day be remembered, not because of the dress, the guests, the families or the location, but because You were there in their midst and everyone knew it!

We pray you’d bless them richly, this day and the many days ahead of them.

In your name, we ask,
Amen.
