Leadership, on the scale that the Queen has, is for a handful of people around the world and is not to be underestimated in any way. She was crowned HM The Queen earlier than she ever anticipated because to her Father’s death.
HM The Queen conducts herself with an outstanding level of integrity. Governing as she does requires a great deal of courage, which continues to inspire people the world over. She has the ultimate authority and power in the land where she is head of state and nation. However, over history, this has been rarely wielded in this manner.
‘But you are such a heavy load to carry! How can I deal with all your problems and bickering? Choose some well-respected men from each tribe who are known for their wisdom and understanding, and I will appoint them as your leaders.’ Deuteronomy 1:12-13
Heavenly Father, the leadership of people can be a heavy burden as Moses found and expressed to God and the Israelite people. Thank you that you prepared HM Queen Elizabeth for this unique position. In your timing, she was crowned as Queen after her losing her father. Thank you that HM the Queen is known for her wisdom and understanding around the country and the world. It is a position of standing that very few have. I pray that her leadership will continue to inspire and challenge leaders around the world. Give her your eyes and your ears to know how to lead this nation and those you have put under her care.
Give her your eyes and your ears to know how to lead this nation and those you have put under her care. Grant her wisdom to know when and what to say to her nation as she speaks to individuals, leaders and nations. Your her perspective on what is going on in this world as she leads. Fuel her prayers and her conversations with those close to her, and those whom she leads.
May I, as a subject of HM The Queen, willingly submit to her authority in the country of Britain to make her work a joy. I know that You, God, are the one to whom she must give an account as she watches over us as a nation. Please continue to prosper her leadership as The Queen of Great Britain as a whole.
In Jesus’ name.
