HM The Queen’s Physical Well-being

We all have physical bodies that need care and attention to sustain and maintain life.

The Queen is no different from us in this respect, her physical health is important. Over Christmas and New Year in 2016/7 year, she missed 2 services at the church due to a heavy cold. With a huge responsibility, she needs good physical health to complete her work and commitments. She meets, communicates and engages with numerous parties and people in her diary each week, month and year.

Pray:

‘My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen to my words. Never let them get away from you. Remember them and keep them in your heart. They will give life and health to anyone who understands them.’ Proverbs 4:20-22

Heavenly Father, You know the needs of each individual person in the world. The verse in Proverbs asks us to pay attention and listen to Your words which will give us health. As HM The Queen brings Your words to her mind and hides them in her heart, give her Your understanding and insight. Continue to give her healthy body, life in all its fullness. I pray you would give her all she needs physically so that she can have good health-whether this be food, rest or something else her medical staff suggest.

Sustain her as she grows older, and help her to know the pace you want her to set each day and week. Make her life long and healthy so that she can continue to serve her nation as she has done for so many years. Uphold her as she grows older, and help her to know the pace you want her to set each day and week.

I pray you would give wisdom and discernment to the medical staff who attend to her physical needs when she needs it. Give them the perceptiveness and discernment to know what Her Majesty needs each time they are called upon for advice. Grant HM Queen Elizabeth sound sleep at night to rest her body from the activity of the day, to rejuvenate her for each day.

In Jesus’ name.
Amen
