She has already reigned for 63 years as Queen, and I pray that there will be many more years to come. She has shown herself to be totally dedicated to this service for our country and the commonwealth nations around the world. This has inspired many people the world over.
Pray:
‘“Now here is the king you chose; you asked for him, and now the Lord has given him to you. All will go well with you if you honor the Lord your God, serve him, listen to him, and obey his commands, and if you and your king follow him. But if you do not listen to the Lord but disobey his commands, he will be against you and your king. So then, stand where you are, and you will see the great thing which the Lord is going to do”’. I Samuel 12:13-16
‘Long live the king! May the gold of Sheba be given to him. May the people always pray for him and bless him all day long. May there be abundant grain throughout the land, flourishing even on the hilltops. May the fruit trees flourish like the trees of Lebanon, and may the people thrive like grass in a field. May the king’s name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun shines. May all nations be blessed through him and bring him praise.’ Psalm 72:15-17
Heavenly Father, I pray that you will sustain HM Queen Elizabeth as she reigns as head of the British state, the nation, and as the Sovereign for 16 Commonwealth Realms. I thank you for her dedication to the work you have appointed her to do. May her reign continue to be lengthy.
I want to honour the Lord my God, serve Him, listen to Him and obey His commands. I pray that this would also be true of HM The Queen, a queen you have given us as a nation for such a time as this. Lord, as an outcome of our nation praying I ask that it be strengthened and encouraged by her reign. I want to stand and see great things happening in our Royal Family and in our land because of the nations’ prayers and pray’ers. Lord, I can’t wait for that! Teach me to be faithful in what you have asked of me, and in patient expectation of great things to come. May your kingdom come to the Royal family.
Thank you for the encouragement HM The Queen gives to those she meets and communicates with. Father God, bestow on HM The Queen great honour and favour from your Almighty hand for the work she does. Her dedication to her work is incredible. May she be publicly and privately esteemed by the people of the world.
