About me

My story

I, Debbie, am a follower of Jesus Christ, a Christian, who believes in the power of prayer. As the understanding of my faith has grown, so has my inclination to pray. Having had an interest in the British Royal family since my childhood, it is a subject that catches my attention whenever I hear Royal related news. I have asked myself this question many times-what should I do with this news? Is it just for my information?

Over the past few years, my passion for praying, and watching the changes in the British Royal Family have combined. They have lead me to pray more for them. I am no expert in Royal matters. What I do know that when a country’s leadership is at peace with itself, often so is the country in which they govern and lead. In the Bible, it says:

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.’ 1 Timothy 2: 1-4 (NLT)

Focus on the Royal Family

HM Queen Elizabeth II is the Supreme Governor of the Church of England, the Head of the Nation & State of Great Britain, and 16 Commonwealth Realms. The Bible encourages us to pray those in authority. Praying for the Royal Family, as part of the leadership for the country, is not to be overlooked.

New avenue

As far as I can tell, there are no specific avenues to encourage people to pray for our British Royal Family. This blog is to stimulate and encourage God’s people worldwide to pray for the British Royal Family. We need to pray for their position, roles and responsibilities in this country and society as a whole. This includes their relationships as rulers and heirs to the British throne, the government of the day and to the leaders of countries around the world.

This prayer blog is not fueled by gossip or media. It is not a news feed of any type. There may be Royal Family appointments that are important to pray for and seasonal gatherings to remember, but these will not be the main focus of the prayers. There are seasons and rhythms of life. Changes will happen, however, the main focus is to pray for them.

  • Are you ready to join me on this unique journey?
  • Are you ready to believe for great things to happen in our Royal Family, our country and the world as a result of your prayers?
  • Are you ready?

Then let’s pray…
